My all-time favorite brand of SSDs are undoubtedly Samsungs. I’ve used them since they first came out and have not had a single failure. [knock knock]. The question I often get from my clients, is it worth getting the PRO version? For mission critical data, yes, PROs are always worth the extra cost. The Samsung 870 just came out and so the 860 PROs are pretty close in price. If the price difference between a PRO and non-PRO is 10% or so, get the PRO. However, remember, no matter how much you spend on your hard drive, if you have no backup system, you’re playing with fire.
